Join now to start the journey and uncover all the mysteries surrounding the story of the personality girl Kathy Rain. ![]() Kathy Rain: Director’s Cut APK is a classic role-playing adventure game that is widely loved on many different platforms, including Android. ![]() ![]() ![]() Just the ability to input and carry out commands while the animation of the previous command is still finishing provides a fantastic example of what I mean – sure, that’s a minor aesthetic change, but it makes the turn-based battle feel far more alive, adding a sense of speed and fluidity to an otherwise methodical system. ![]() In a post Final Fantasy XIII world, one can truly appreciate how good X was, and how it bridged the gap between traditional Japanese RPG and modern fast-paced expectations in ways today’s Square Enix could only dream of. FFX has aged phenomenally well, remaining an expertly structured roleplaying game with an engrossing leveling system and a subtle-yet-gratifying take on turn-based combat. Replaying Final Fantasy X on the PlayStation Vita, my belief that it was a delightful game in spite of itself holds true. Really, the lack of a manually traversable world map wasn’t that bad. ![]() Every time I look back on it, though, I only recall the amount of fun I had, not so much the disturbance I suffered at all the scary, non- Final Fantasy changes. Although I quite enjoyed Tidus’ depressingly upbeat adventure when I played it back in the day, I nonetheless viewed it as the beginning of a downward spiral for the Final Fantasy series, full of ideas that made for a notably inferior installment. My opinion on Final Fantasy X has only ever improved with time. ![]() ![]() My first test engine was an initial attempt at scrolling through a map using the hardware, and blitting into an offscreen column: I use PPaint and PicCon on the Amiga, and Photoshop, Tiled and Aseprite on the Mac. ![]() Graphics were converted from the arcade originals, and reduced down with Paint and Photoshop into various banks of 16 colours Robocop is 16 colours and I think the background right now is 32 colours although I could be wrong. The current engine is nothing special it runs in 64 colours, utilising 64 pixel wide sprites for the background parallax on level 1, and a 4x fetch mode. I have nowhere near the experience that those guys have but I'll try and keep on top of this and post progress when I can. Now, please don't expect updates or the general development progress that you're used to seeing from the likes of mcgeezer, jotd or Muzza. ![]() I started with Photon's startup code and tutorials, and over the past 18 months have tinkered on, bent more experienced coders' ears (quite a lot) and through experimenting with various other ports and ripped graphics, settled on Robocop and came up with what we have today. I thought I'd create a thread to document progress of my Robocop port for AGA Amigas.Īlthough I've been a high-level programmer for 20-odd years now, this is my first delve into 68k ASM and utilising the Amiga hardware by "banging the metal", and I must say it's bloody hard work! As I've enjoyed following the development threads for the likes of Rygar, Kung Fu Master, Pacman, Turrican 2 AGA etc. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() It’s simple, easy to use, and comes with all the basic features you need to interact with PDF files. The music by Hans Zimmer is outstanding, a perfect mix of African chants and pure Hollywood. The highlights were the stampede and the fight between Scar and Simba. The animation is superb, the backgrounds look so rich, and for once, there are no stiff movements. It was one of the first movies I ever saw, so that accounts for how much I love it. This is a fantastic movie, and I am not lying! my 13 year old sister loves this movie, and I can't fault this either. ![]() Reviewed by TheLittleSongbird 10 / 10 This is my sister's favourite film, and one of mine! The whole experience washed over me without touching or involving me once, and don't get me started on the exaggerated voice acting. The comedy relief is laboured and the songs trite. The positive thing about this is that the character animation is very good indeed, although I found the backdrops simplistic in the extreme. Jeremy Irons' bad guy is that just because. The characters are trite and one-dimensional without anything in the way of depth or motivation. The story is copied from HAMLET and simplified to get rid of all the complexity. This is over-simplistic, spoon-fed pulp for the masses. Decades later, I've finally watched it for the first time and the experience has reaffirmed all of the negativity I associate with Disney animation. I didn't like what I saw of Disney movies as a kid and by the time THE LION KING came out in 1994 I was 13 and couldn't be less interested in kid's films anymore anyway.
